When I delete a song from the iPod, say from a specific artist the list resets and send me back to tops, to All...

It does the same thing when you edit information within a song. If I'm not mistaken, it's because the iPod's database has to refresh itself to reflect the changes. Don't know if it's really a bug though.

Its actually because we like to keep the artist-album view up to date, and that is what is being refreshed. Winamp does it differently, it will let it get out of date to avoid this kind of thing.

I'm not sure which way is best.

If I am doing some deleting and moving and changing in the library it is a somewhat annoying to have to scroll down again after each change.

Would it be hard to either give the option to either always update or manually update, or have a time delay selection, update every X minutes?
