If someone isn't capable of finding any info whatsoever on how to burn CD's, I'm not sure he/she would be able to make use of that info if it was handed to him/her like we're doing

Nero is SO easy to use, you don't even need a manual if you're just burning Audio CD's. Just remember to put the CD-R in label up.

There's a difference between burning a CD that i burn all the time, and trying to figure out how to make a CD that ive never tried to make before...

and you say: "you could have searched yourself"

Yes, i could have, but i'd rather ask the people i trust the most other than going and searching in the wild blue yonder.

And I apreciate your help, now i dont have to ask that again.

"The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked."

One of these days i might want to make a VCD. Know what im gonna do? Same thing I always do, ask the people I trust the most.

point 1: burning CD's are legal, as long as you don't play them to other people. fact.

point 2: downloading music is OK, as long as you don't change the music format and you don't play it to other people, it's OK. fact.

point 3: read the sig.

use the search, that's what it's there for.

Lets take this one step at a time.

First you need the music on your computer in order to burn the cd's.

To download music go to http://www.winmx.com It is a file sharing program called winmx. Download their file. Open the file and under the search part type in the music you wish to put on your computer. Click on the music and download away. Depending on what kind of internet connection you have ie: 56K, cable, dsl, t1 ect..... will depend on how long it takes for you to download the music to your computer.

Once you have the music then you can burn it to a blank cd. use cdr's (meaning recordable). If you have a cd burner then it probably came with software to use to burn the music.

Download some music and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Have a great day.

Downloading music

Go to Morpheus and download it. It is one of the better replacements to Napster. It's easy to use.

LimeWire works okay, also, for downloading MP3 files. The search capabilities are not nearly as good as Napster, however. Napster, may you rest in peace.
