play winamp over network

how can I use winamp on different computers with the same playlists, if my mp3s are on one network drive ? can I create a playlist on the network drive, that all computers can use ?
how can I export my playlist to the newtork drive ?

thanks for your help from a winamp beginner ...

your mp3-folder has to be shared on your network drive.
path to your mp3s should then be:
e.g.
\\yournetworkdrive\music\
now you go and create a playlist and save it to your mp3-folder's 'root-dir':
\\yournetworkdrive\music\playlist.m3u

when a client now opens the playlist winamp should play the files, because the path the playlist uses is a relative path to your music-folder.

I've got a similar problem, where it gets complicated is that I've got a server running NAS4Free with NAS activated that can share my music to media devices. If I try to play a single file on my media player, everything works fine but if I try to load a playlist made from my computer, since it has absolute path on the network drive and not relative path, the linux sysemt doesn't recognise the path of the files in the playlists and they are marked as read. If I manually modify the playlist file to give it relative path everything works great. Is there a way to force winamp to always use relative path ???
