Where are you saved EQ presets?

Hi, I got a preset for the Winamp EQ and I like it very much. I would like to save it in case I have to reinstall Winamp or something. Where are the user created presets to save them for the future? Thanks.

Sorry But I did read the Equalizer Q&A Guide and cant find the answer. I read this:

Q: What are the various equalizer settings files?
A: Winamp.q1 = presets file, Winamp.q2 = auto-presets file, *.eqf = individual preset file where * represents a file name. The Winamp.q1/q2 files are located in Winamp's folder. *.EQF files can be saved just about anywhere.

And still I dont find my EQ preset. It's an auto-preset or an individual preset?

Well, only you would know where it could be found, right?

Probably an 'individual' preset. Where did you save/download it to?

What I did is Set the EQ sliders to my liking, then press Preset button, then select Save, then give it a name and Save.
And now I answer where is this preset to save it in my computer or in a CD to have it for future instalations or computers, or to send it to a friend.

If you press Preset button > Save > Preset, the preset is saved together with all presets you saved in that manner in the file winamp.q1. You can copy that file to backup all custom presets appearing when you press Preset > Load > Preset...

If you want to save a preset separately, use Preset button > Save > To EFQ..., and save the file anywhere you like.

Anyways, your thread has inspired this addition. Also a revision of the "various EQ setting files" section. The original was...
