Where Are You From?

I've always wondered how many people here are actually from the USA. It seems that so many people here are British. It seems like I'm a minority here.

It only seems that we overpower the forums because, collectively, we talk so much sense. Actually there's only a handful of us.

There are more Yanks here than British methinks.
I wonder if any person has some rough figures.

I'm surprised that the Europeans have time to post here with all of their hooligan activities at this time

Sadly I think the English football hooligans are saving their energy for Portugal in 2004 and Germany in 2006. The Far East is too expensive for those mindless morons.

i'm from the u.s., but without any pride, i hate being a part of the most destructive country in history . . . i take pride in my state, VT, and wish we could secede, and be our own country again (vermont was it's on republic from 1777 to 1791) vermont was one of the first countries to make slavery illegal in the world, first state in the u.s. to give something like marriage (civil unions) to gay couples, and of course, the only state where 2 (out it's 3) representatives to the national government are independent, the state that gave control of the Senate to the Democrats (Jim Jeffords). I could go on forever . . .

new jersey? a flatlander, it's open season on them, where's my shotgun . . . ? or at least that's what my neighbors would say (they wield bibles, guns and redneck VT accents, and without them, it would be pretty boring here)

I live everywhere. Mainly I stay online on The Internet.

I actually am in a home in one of the quadrants in a large city in one of the western states, in the south bordering four states on each side. Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Arizona, at an elevation 1 mile high, approximately 5000 feet, with all the neccessities of a big city without the density, and a 10,000 foot peak above our city with one of the highest TV and Radio Station towers in the United States.
Theres geography and facts for thought. You're guesses are if you done research, or you already know from past times before.
