ClassicPro© Competition - Win $225 in prizes!



Think you have what it takes to create the ultimate ClassicPro skin?
Well then this is just for you!

We'll be running this competition for the next few weeks and we're looking for some really cool ClassicPro designs. So pull out your graphics editors and show us your creativity. You can even update your old Classic skins to show them in their more modern ClassicPro shape. So get skinning!


Here are the Rules
  • Closing date for all entries is Sunday, 30 March 2008 at Midnight GMT
  • 1st Prize $150
  • 2nd Prize is $75
  • Some skins will be featured on our home page.
  • Designs have to be by you, or you'll need permission from original author.
  • Designs will be judged by SC staff. Staff here (ADMINS) can't enter.
  • No limit on number of entries per person
  • The skin has to work on ClassicPro Engine 1.00 for Winamp5.52 (should not be a design proposal, but a real skin!)
  • Winners will be announced Wednesday, 2 April 2008

do a comp in the future with a better a base skin layout +features and I'll take part

I think out of those entries "cPro - Insekticid by iron2000" was the best one really overal.. clean, modern good button hovers, I think some areas are lacking detail that could be added without ruining the minimalistic type look.. but it definitely has the most potential to be even better I think, pitty you can't change the colour scheme with gamma groups the easy way with cpro.

your 1st prize winner well it definitely has likable features (the black soft reflective tabs on grey bg.. nice and similar too a skin of mine elsewhere, overal all the gfx work and colour choices above those tabs is good, the fat bold fonts wasn't a good choice though).. .. the bad stuff... cyan font color and way too much heavy beveling of gfx/buttons etc has ruined it... a little less time spent on beveling would have been better.

anyway i'll go back to using my other 'better' modern sui skin now

My signature was just too damn good to be seen here..
