I should do more preset remixing when I'm drunk after a party. It gives me good ideas.

Mhmm, maybe I should start mashing up some new ones instead of just remixing old mashups.

This is , though.

I've been sorting through old presets for days now... still have another 1000 or so to go now.

I think it starts to rub off.

Bleh, I should've figured that one on my own.

Anyway, I finally reduced the old presets to a choice selection of slightly over 1000 that I like, so expect a few new presets.

Like this one.

Ah, it's so much easier to mix and mash when you have a larger selection.

Well, I'm glad to hear you like them.

With 1062 new presets to work with, remixing these feels sort of like unwrapping christmas presents.

At the moment, I mainly mash up some old presets, then apply new shaders to them... would you maybe like me to post some of the "raw" mashups so you can try your hand on them yourselves?

I could swear I had seen the exact effect of the "Deja Vu" one before, but I checked each of the presets it's composed of and they are completely different. The wonders of MashUp.

I found out why I had a deja vu... when I save a mashed up preset alphabetically before the single components, the presets still listed in the mashup menu are each shifted one preset down, so none of them matched up with my expectations when I checked them.

Done - I've got 10 right here for your shading and remixing pleasure.

So again: This rar contains raw presets, which still need some refinements. Download at your own risk.

That's pretty much how it should look - the strange behaviour is due to a combination of two texture-based shaders that surely weren't meant to be used together.

It's a bit static, though, but I think I got some slightly better versions here...

hehe nice ones.

hey you inspired me to take a closer look at the hue shader and i came up with some nice presets.

the 'burst' presets are introducing a new per vertex code and another new beat detection code.

have fun

[edit] try activating the 'hue burst's custom shape 4 - which mode do you like better? [/edit]

Nice to see you again, flexi! I'm always happy to serve as an inspiration, especially when it leads to new and exciting presets.

In other news, I played around a bit and... More hue shader fun!

[edit] something in between both modes might be nice for the original, and the remixed one looks better with #4 enabled.

I seem to be getting better at writing random stuff into the shader and getting results from it...
