Daylight savings time...

from Google:

Quote:
Daylight Saving Time (United States) began Sunday, March 11, 2012, 2:00am, and ends Sunday, November 4, 2012, 2:00am.Except Arizona and Hawaii. Move your clocks ahead 1 hour in spring and back 1 hour in fall ("Spring forward, fall back").
If this applies to you, use this thread as a friendly reminder to change your clocks. If you rely on a cell phone or computer for a schedule/clock/alarm, you probably won't have to actively do anything as those are often set to adjust themselves.

I really should be posting this topic in the bitchlist, because I think this practice is ridiculous.

Don't forget to live before you die.

We did ours last weekend.

I was out late on the Saturday and the extra hour in bed was most welcome

My home state doesn't do daylight saving, since we're bathed in sunlight year-round anyway. The other three states (and one "territory") on the eastern seaboard, however, they do have daylight saving.

This makes "interesting" the task of trying to schedule our TV-watching based on the printed TV guides; even the fancy digital EPG gets confused, with some national broadcasters using DST and some not.

That's about the only problem I have with DST – I could take it or leave it – I just wish either all states did it, or none did.
