See the first two links under "How to Setup a Live Audio Stream" in this thread (which can be found at the top of this forum): http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....threadid=70404

4) In the Start menu find the "Edit SHOUTcast DNAS configuration" and change the password to something other then "changeme". You can also take this time to change your listener count and port base if you wish.

this was step #4. i don't see edit shoutcast dnas config as an option in my start menu....and i am to step #4. ive downloaded the first everything i need to to the first 3 steps. now i've yet to alter the name, pw, and port. but i don't see that as an option in my start menu.....where should i go to edit it?

You can open the server GUI itself and click "edit config" in the menu bar.

The file itself, sc_serv.ini, can be opened directly; it's in the same directory as the server itself - usually \Program Files\SHOUTcast on a PC.

<06/07/03@07:11:01> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully
<06/07/03@07:11:31> [dest: 205.188.208.169] connection closed (81 seconds) (UID: 1)[L: 0]{Bytes: 256000}(P: 0)
<06/07/03@07:11:32> [source] no data (30s timeout). disconnecting.
<06/07/03@07:11:33> [main] connecting to yp.shoutcast.com to remove myself [no source]
