Shoutcast breaks after 2 hours

Since few days the same error crashes my shoutcast server:
msg:[dst sid=1] Ultravox client connection accepted. WinampMPEG/5.09
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what(): XML parser error: no element found at line 1
I already have SHOUTcast DNAS 2 (Build 29) 07/31/2011 running. Have any idea how to fix this? ;/

it's an issue with non-windows versions due to the incorrect handling of certain title updates from the connected source which isn't properly handled which then causes the v2 DNAS to close. it's internally fixed but i don't have an eta on when the next public release will be made.

all i can suggest is making sure that the titles coming from the source don't contain any non-standard characters which might be treated as extended ascii control characters.

also i've split this post out as the thread you replied to related to issues with the second v2 DNAS beta release.
