* character causes: Title update rejected - value not allowed

Dear people,

A topic that has already been mentioned several times, but I am not sure if there is a solution for this.

I try to update the title (title - artist) from a Shoutcast V2 server. When the title starts with a * character I get the failure: Title update rejected - value not allowed.

On a Shoutcast V1 server this isn't a problem, it works fine. Is it possible to configure the Shoutcast V2 server so that it can handle these types of characters?

And is there a list of which characters are prohibited to begin with?
