New HDD transffering music

Hi guys, i have purchased a new HDD and am wishing to transfer all my music.

I am wanting to transfer everything, exactly as it is now, in the same directory structure, but with a new drive letter (i can change the drive letter to match the old HDD drive letter if it is really the only way)

i have looked at threads about MoveItem.dll and other various "in media library" plugins.

however i don't think these are appropriate, given the file structure for everything remaining the same, and the entire collection being transfered.

Is there a way to find and replace all paths within the database without changing other information. i.e. changing from G:/* to M:/*

i don't mind doing it manually in notepad/wordpad, or via the media library somehow. but i am transfering my files via windows explorer, and don't really want to in winamp.

Not easily, no. It involves cracking out a Hex Editor to the files in the \plugins\ml\ folder.
