From now on, I think I'm going to post Wikipedia-links instead of IMDB ones for my films, if a somewhat decent Wikipedia-article is available.

In cinema yesterday:
Collateral.
Somewhat OK, funny in some places and interesting (although not very stunning) dialog. The film also features Too Many Closeups, Too Obvious TV-series-like Tempo Change, and let's not forget that Cruise's dyed hair looks quite silly.

On TV tonight: Office Space

It's Good. I hated the Rap soundtrack, but everything else was well done, if you count out some small issues/unbalanced stuff in the story.

Don't know if miniseries' count, but...

Battlestar Galactica, Part 1

BSG purests might say it doesn't measure up to the original, and I would agree, but it's still pretty good, IMHO.

Cable Guy is Jim Carrey's worst movie. It's right down there with Once Bitten.

Contact. 8/10. Love this movie. Just wish a sequel would be made. Maybe further in the future where Elle is in her 80's or something.

UHF (Weird Al's movie). 7.5/10. Cult classic, and hilarious. Always loved Weird Al. STUPID! YOU SO STUPID!

Kill Bill, Vol. 1

Question: What's the name of that song that's played when Lucy Liu's posse is walking in the hall to the House Of Blue Leaves? I've listened to the soundtrack samples @ Amazon.com, but I can't find that one.

The last movie I saw in the theater was "THE AVIATOR"... Flat-out LOVED it!

The last movie I saw on DVD was "The House on Haunted Hill"... the 1958 original with Vincent Price, that made me giggle with delicious terror when I was 8. I recently bought a box of 12 two sided DVDs at Big Lots for 20 bucks... filled with FIFTY Classic Horror movies... Incredbible old black-and-white classics like Dementia 13, White Zombie, Maniac, Night of the Living Dead, Little Shop of Horrors, Carnival of Souls, The Brain that Would Not Die, etc. Even a few silents like Metropolis, Nosferatu, and the Phantom of the Opera... what a find!

I was surprised to find out there are Trekkies in England. I would've they'd all be Whovians. I actually kept waitin' fer someone to mention a Dalek or a Cyberman, or OMG Nicola Bryant.
