What does everyone have on their desk?

I have a cup of water, and PEZ dispenser and some PEZ candy wrappers, keys to my old bike lock which I can't find and had to get a new one. Empty box of my mom's Krispy Kreme donuts.

Here's my desk.

On it, I have:
- 1 laptop computer named "Mean-Machine" (guess where I got the name from )
- 2 speakers (1 subwoofer under desk)
- 1 printer
- 1 mouse
- 1 external floppy drive
- 1 external number pad thingy
- 2 Welch's grape soda cans (empty)
- 1 Dr. Pepper can (half-full [edit] now empty [/edit])
- 1 wallet
- 1 calculator
- 3 pens
- 1 floppy disk
- 2 coasters (none being used )
- 1 cell phone
- $1.67 in loose change (5 quarters, 2 dimes, 3 nickles, and 7 pennies(hidden from view, under papers))
- 1 set of car keys, with yellow bottle/can opener (hidden from view, under papers)
- 1 CD (Boston)
- 1 CD case (Pantera)
- 1 ashtray
- 1 pack of Basic Menthol Ultra Lights (hidden from view, under papers)
- 1 lighter
- 1 ticket stub from NIN concert
- 1 book (Norton Introduction to Literature)
- 1 flash drive
- 1 small notebook
- 1 clear glass to hold pens, pencils, markers, screwdrivers, 1 pair of pliers, and 1 hobby knife
- 1 watch, and
- 9 miscellaneous papers for school

Now, I'll admit, it's much more messy than normal-- I usually only have one empty soda can, and my cell phone, cigarettes, and lighter are more often in my pocket.

that's just on top of my desk

FYI, my desk is 125 by 60 cm (that's about 50 by 23.5 inches)

BTW, sometimes I mount Inflatia on my desk but she tends to build up static with the monitor and kinda sticks to it.

13 years after my previous post about my desk.

As little as possible

Great question. I often think a forum section on photos of your desk would be good - obviously as the desk is and not tidied! On my desk right now :

Monitor remote control, use a 42" 4K tv as the main display, though 90% of the time its running in 1080 since it caps at 30fps at 4k owing to HDMI limits. (And my poor old graphics card chugs when pushing 4k on current games above medium settings)

The actual computer and monitors are set up on a separate stand, with one monitor on a pile of old Mac Pro's bought for around £25 each and made into a makeshift desk.
