Anyway tonite I watched A series of unfortunate events A kid film that grown ups should like too. ![]() This is a really good fantasy story with funny characters and great effects. I was really entertained. and The Island ![]() This movie had great special effects, but absolutely lacked any redeeming quality past that. An interesting premise, but a stupid film that left you not caring about any of the characters at all. Some of the best car crash scenes I've ever seen, but not worth an hour and a half of your life. Make you wonder why they drop a hundred million and nobody raises their hand and says it's lame. Last edited by rockouthippie; 19th August 2006 at 10:10. |

I just finished watching a few episodes of Nip/Tuck season two. God I love this show, and I can't wait until season three comes out in seven days. And then season four is coming out next month! Ah, man, great show. Any fans?

Collateral Damage The digital effects of Gordy being swept down the waterfall were schlocky much like the ones used in Die Another Day when Bond tries to "ride the waves". It's like watching a video game.
September 11 or not, this movie and others like it, trivialize the reality of our world today. Damaging indeed. ![]() /me rethinks future video rentals |

Watched Silent Hill the other day. Never played the games, but I had heard of the Pyramid Head character, and he was quite cool. Loved the big assed knife.
![]() Reminds me of Ichigo's sword in Bleach. I've also recently watched King Kong, The Benchwarmers, Hostel (fuckin'... ow...), RV (ROFL). And several others I'm sure, they're just slipping my mind. Asside from those, I watched season 1 of Superman: The Animated Series, and I'm almost done with season 1 of Justice League, then I'll move on to season 1 of Batman Beyond. I've also recently purchased and watched seasons 1 to 4 of The Dead Zone on DVD. Downloaded what I missed of season 5, and my DVR has been picking up the rest. Quite the cool show. ![]() |

Nacho Libre Simply the worst thing I've seen from Jack Black. When I wasn't falling asleep, it was slow and boring...(which would make me fall asleep again).

V For Vendetta
I thought it a good movie. I'll have to watch it a few more times to understand what "V" is talking about in the beginning of the movie(like with the architect towards the end of Matrix Reloaded). There is no sig. |

Ultraviolet - yawn
Memento - truly brilliant. Just saw the chronological version for the first time. Children of Men - fabulous. Breathtaking combat scene near the end. Has one excellent single take shot that goes on for days. Pirates of the Caribbean - we've got to sit through another of these yet? |

Armageddon and V for Vendetta(again). I understand what V is saying in the beginning now. I had to read the subtitles.

I bought the Pink Panther collection on DVD. 126 Pink Panther Cartoons. I am really liking this collection. These old Pink Panthers are funny as hell.

Shaun of the Dead
A pretty hilarious parody on the zombie horror genre...Never had the chance to watch it until now, and I enjoyed it... ![]() "I just want to lie in my own crusty filth, eating rancid egg sandwiches, until some unfortunate paramedic has to blow down my door to find my bloated and pasty corpse wedged between the nightstand and mattress stained with Bengay and Robitussin DM." - Greg Gutfeld on sex and seniors "Syphilis does not stay in Vegas. Debt collectors do not stay in Vegas. Dead hookers stay in Vegas, but the guilt stays with you forever." - Bill Schultz |

Blood Diamond
http://imdb.com/title/tt0450259/ I think this is one of the better movies I've seen lately. 8/10. Some movies make me fidget. This one absolutely kept my attention. |

Great action and Kelly Carlson is hot, but the attempts at humor were pitiful. |
