They still use IE6 at work, or did untill a couple of weeks ago, now they have Firefox.
IE6 is still used for a couple of websites that hold just about all of my countries personal information, because you know, government security is great.Member most in need of SpellCheck Lifetime Achievement Award
I'm a Twitch Streamer these days, it's weird.

I think it's Google chrome ftw. I use Firefox for it's dev tools, but for browsing, I think Chrome can't be beat. On something light, like a netbook, the extra speed is a big selling point. On my fairly formidable desktop, it's just sorta .... clean... lean and mean The linux versions of Chrome past have been a little twitchy. It seems like they worked it out though.
IE9? Well, I didn't like 8,7,6,5,4,3,2 or 1, so I'm not optimistic.
It has finally happened. It took a little longer than anticipated, but Chrome has now passed Firefox as the browser most often used to visit TechCrunch. For the month of November, Chrome is number one for the first time, edging out Firefox 27.80 percent to 27.67 percent. Back in early September, on Chrome's second birthday, we noted that Google's browser had been making huge gains over the past couple of years and was only about 3 percent away from passing longtime leader (again, in terms of browsing traffic to TechCrunch) Firefox. The quickly progressing Firefox 4 beta likely slowed Chrome's march to the top a bit, but it couldn't fully hold it back. Now the question is: can Chrome hang on?

9 is quite quick and has some nice features. I'm just usta' it. It seems quite a bit faster than 8 and has some nice features I don't use. I like firefox for downloading and converting videoes, as I am somewhat poor right now.

I've been testing it at work since the beta was released. We had no major issues with rendering or stability (the sites that did break it worked in compatibility mode) and it does seem a little faster than 8. Integrating the search bar and address bar, and removing the status bar by default will confuse some users though. I expect we'll get a few calls about those when we do roll it out.
Overall, it's a good version of IE, an incremental improvement making it the best so far. That said, there's absolutely nothing about it that makes it compelling to switch to (or back to) if you're already using chrome/firefox etc.

Do you really want to be?
If you do, then the first thing to know is that if it works for you, it's okay.
There is no 'best' browser. It completely depends on which websites you visit. And then, there are no 'bad' browsers anymore either.
The only reason we discuss it so often is for the discussionJesus loves you [yes, you] so much, he even died for you so that you will not need to die, but live forever
