How to prevent winamp from opening when adding files/folder to library

okay so i have searched quite a bit and was not able to find this issue even mentioned, its not a serious error or anything but its kind of annoying.

I was using winamp 5.551 and i'm pretty sure with that version that winamp would NOT open when i used the shell/right click to add a folder to winamps media library

i have since upgraded to 5.572 and every time i add a folder or file to the media library winamp opens. i have not been able to find a setting related to this anywhere, but i'd rather the app didnt run from just adding folders to the library. maybe that's weird but hey.

thanks in advance
