Module Plug-in Error
I get this when I try to play an stm file with Winamp.
It also says corrupt file or unsupported module type. |

It might actually be a corrupt file or it could be a newer version of the format that Winamp (or the input plugin) doesn't recognize. Please post an info tool report and attach it and the offending file to your next post for testing.

it's more likely due to Winamp's mod plug-in being pretty poor. you're better off trying http://lib.openmpt.org/libopenmpt/ to see if that plays better (without crashing, etc) compared to Winamp's native option. just remove in_mod.dll and place that other plug-in into the Winamp\Plugins folder.

Completely corrupted. Absolutely nothing could play it or even identify it by the contents. Try re-downloading it again from wherever you got it.
Side note, you uploaded the archive with a .zip extension but the archive actually appears to be .rar format. |

Same file inside the new archive, still corrupt.
Side note, archive was of the correct type for its extension this time. ![]() |

Well it's a little different but I'm still not able to get anywhere with it. Where are you trying to get the file from?
[EDIT /] Gonna try something different... [EDIT2 /] Nevermind, it didn't work. |

if the files you are trying to play are corrupted then other than re-acquiring valid copies of the files (as already suggested), there's little else anyone can do.

it can as long as they're valid files. if thinktink's looking at things indicated that they're invalid files then that will explain why it won't work. otherwise, as I'd already suggested in my first reply in this thread, try the other module player plug-in (once you've disabled the native Winamp version) but ensure that the files you're trying to play are not corrupt.

Okay, I'm also having a problem with the browser on Winamp. Some type of error saying The url couldn't be parsed. It's keeping me from using Winamp.
