Hi,

This is a stock standard install of Winamp. No 3rd party plugins loaded.

I have only noticed it happening with the modern skins Avalon and Drone.

Will check with the other modern skins I have loaded.

Thanks.

Guru meditation is a skin error.
  • Maybe the skins are corrupted. Try delting the skins and download again. Go to the skins browser (Alt+S) right click on the skin. A menu should pop-up with 'Delete skin...' as an option. Alternately (while Winamp is not running) you could go to Winamp's skins folder and delete the respective skin file (*.wal). Download the skins again. If you have a download manager/accelerator, disable it prior to downloading.
  • Maybe just maybe this, while Winamp is not running go to the Winamp folder and delete the studio.xnf file. That will reset WA skins to their defaults and helps to clear up mod skin problems.
Otherwise try contacting the skin author/developer. If you click on the authors name in the skin details page (at Winamp Skins) you will get a contact form. Third party skins/plug-ins are not supported on Winamp Forums.

Not allways a skin error, for example when using nxs thinger (3rd party plugin) when you switch to the modern skin you get an guru meditation error so it could have been plugin induced

NOTE: I am Dextro!

very true d3x7r0, i never did check the source to see why it was doing that (sort of curious since i've never made Winamp do it myself)
