All presets in a .zip/.tgz/.tbz/.7z?

Hi there,

would it be possible to pack up all .milk files in one file that one can simply unpack into the presets/ dir with e.g. Linux? And to provide it to http://www.milkdrop.co.uk/downloads.htm ?

As far as I found out, I have to use wine, vmware etc. to unpack the 23(!) single files to get all the 5542 presets.

It would really be a great help for the projectM (http://xmms-projectm.sourceforge.net/) users (Linux and Mac OS X) to be able to extract the presets from a more portable archive format than a (or better yet, 23) Windows-only selfextracting exe file(s).

If I am just too blind to see a link on the page which points to such a file, please point me to it.

Well, I found a 'MilkDrop for XBMC Preset MegaPack' as .torrent, downloaded it, merged it with the presets on my pc, and repackaged it.

It now contains 8397 .milk presets, is 1.2 MiB in size and available at http://midimaze.de/milkdrop_presets.megapack.2007-08-14.8397.7z .

You can get 7zip at http://www.7-zip.org/download.html for free (as in speech and as in beer).

If you find it useful, please mirror it somewhere, as I don't plan to keep it there forever.
