Alex Jones: Do you want the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left? What a bunch of garbage; liberal democrat, conservative, republican. It's all there to control you! Two sides of the same coin. Two management teams bidding for control, the CEO job of Slavery, Incorporated! The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies. I'm sick of it, and I'm not going to take a bite out of it, do you got me?

Best acted/filmed/etc?

I can think of only one that stands out, The Last Samuri. The cinematography, acting, etc, was impressive.

As for what I would consider the "Five Best Movies of All Time":
  1. LOTR Trilogy (Extended editions) - not really three movies, more like a 12 hour movie in volumes.
  2. The Matrix (The first one, only)
  3. Equilibrium
  4. Star Wars Trilogy (See #1)
  5. Office Space

There are a lot of close contenders, including, but not limited to:
  • Donnie Darko
  • Dogma
  • X-Men 1 & 2
  • Fight Club
  • Spider-Man

Freedom of speech is the basic freedom of humanity. When you've lost that, you've lost everything.

Some of the best that comes to my mind at the moment:

Requiem for a dream
Pulp Fiction
American history X
Fight club
One flew over the cuckoos nest (Nicholson rules!)
Schindler's list
American beauty (almost forgot)

Three first Alien movies are good too. I hate the fourth!

The Manchurian Candidate (The first one).
Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence.
The Bridge on the River Kwai.
