Does anyone make money at this?

I just listened to several shoutcast stations - they sound good. But, does anyone make money with their station. I dont hear ads. Just curious. How would a shoutcast stations make money?

not really, most stations are supported by the listeners if at all.

or it's just a hobby, but if you get serious enough you could. i get some $$ from merch, listeners support. but not enough to make a living at it,
