Still yet to think of a name, where to go with the eq and whether or not i'll actually be able to make it work as a skin...

But since i havent done any skinning for a couple of months and i need some inspiration i thought i'd post what i've done so far.

Comments/suggestions/off topic posting/general ranting are always welcome...

Anyways, here 'tis

I likes it. It looks either very papery to me (Eq as graph paper) or very much like a modern business office. Compared to your other skins, I think this one is very original. Keep the metal out!

How are you at skinning Mikros?....

those to bars look o.k. but i think you should tweak it a little to better suit the skin.

Lookin' swish! I like it

Though, I'd say you should try and make some of the shapes more complex, rather than just symmetrical ellipses, semi-circle segments and such - to stop it looking too, well, paint-program'y.

I like the checks in the EQ, reminds me of European paper, which I love, whenever I can get my hands on it. It seems a real shame the playlist can't have that background.

European paper? Does it mean there's no such paper in other countries?
The standard grid size is 4mm. and there's "millimetered" (1mm grid) paper too (there's even "Spanish millimetered", which has a grid size of 2mm! I learnt that recently).

Oh, the skin... Well, it's a good start, I like it, and I like to see it's not a dark and metal skin... yet

Australian paper has horizonatal lines of, let me see...the ones on this piece next to me are 7mm apart. The only time I've ever seen the European-style paper for sale here is when I bought a book of "Graph paper" (even though graph paper normally looks different). I met OJ once...he had a beach house next to the one our friends owned. This was back when his wife Nicole still had an attached head. She and the kids would head out to sit on the sand each day. OJ had Marcus Allen over as well, so I met him also. All other celeb meetings have been removed from my memory through the use of powerful psychotropic drugs so I don't have to go out of my way to get from graph paper to slipping in the fact that I once chatted up Jason Priestly.

I did enjoy John Hurt in the role of ¤db¤ in the film "Love and Death on Long Island" though.

But seriously, he was with a group of about 7 people, and I've never seen such a pathetic display of arse-kissing in my life - and he himself was acting like he thought he was James Dean or someone. Meeting an international celebrity at 4 in the morning in a Hungarian tavern surely doesn't happen more than once in a lifetime for a non-Hungarian, so I'm pretty sorely disappointed at the class of celebrity I got to meet

as for other b-grade celebs, I know someone who knows someone who knows the stunt double of Legolas in LOTR

(apparently, the guy who plays Legolas is a total klutz, and broke the stunt double's eardrums with a sword in rehearsal.)

I've shook hands with Tim Wakefield (baseball player, pitcher for Boston Red Sox)(he's my uncle's friend)
and Mark Wholers (another pitch, I don't know who for right now) went to high school where my mom teaches
Chad Pendington (american football player, quarterback for New York Jets) also went to high school where my mom teaches
my step-dad used to teach one of the players on some US tennis team that was in some tournament..and that guy won it for them...then he threw his racket up in the air and it almost hit him

about the skin: I like the softness of it, except the lines between the graph paper and edge in the eq are a little too soft

is not really my thang, but still a quality job. The rusty textured bits look great

imo the metal should cast a darker shadow on the lcd, or the metal shouldn't be so dark on the undersides.
And if you get chance you could spice up the mini-cbuttons on the playlist, cos they look a bit generic.

Like others have said, it looks like a previous skin of yours, with the detailed LCD and the cracks. I'd like to see a shot of it in action, because that detail in the LCD just seems too much from the screenshot.
