White background
It's boring. Wish the design was a lil' bit artier.
I liked things before Web 2.0 made everything pure function and hardly any art design, as every designer was too afraid of cluttering their pages. Now they have gone overboard in the other direction. ![]() Just my opinion of course... Psychaotic |

Any development on this feedback? I also find the white background too bright and would like a settings option to choose a different color. Thanks.

Light the Background. Evenly light the background. Umbrellas definitely make it easy to get a nice, even spread of light across the background (but always use black-backed umbrella to prevent any light from spilling forward).

maybe what we need is a little bit darker background with the winamp logo or the llama repeated lots of times

There a plenty of free apps that let you reconstruct how a WEB page is presented. I urge caution using them.
