Winamp Needs Admin Privledges In Windows 7

Is there a way to configure Winamp so that it does not require Admin privledges when I open it? I'm running Winamp on a Windows 7 RC1 machine.

Several people use this computer and they want to use Winamp on it because it's the best, and I'm not about to give them an admin level password to make it happen. (They only know enough to be dangerous) And I'm not always there to put in a password for them.

It seems odd to me that Winamp would need Admin privileges at all with it being a media player, but I also understand that It's capable of doing file operations and interacting with lots of different hardware that other players don't. But there's gotta be a way to have Winamp without triggering UAC. (And no, I'm not shutting UAC off. The people I'm dealing with would have that computer dead in a week with UAC off)

Winamp -> Prefs (Ctrl+P)

Uncheck the following options:

General Preferences:
-Check for new versions of Winamp at startup
-Allow Winamp to report anon usage stats

File Types:
-Restore file associations at Winamp startup
-Enable Winamp agent / maintain file associations

Global Hotkeys
-Enable / Enabled

Might just be one or two of those, not all.
But I don't think there's any other settings/features which require admin privileges...?

Thank you,

I'm pretty sure maintain file associations is the only one of those options that I have checked. I'll go through and uncheck that option, and double check all the others.

I'll report back with my findings.

WinAmp 5.x Registration

I am having trouble getting WinAmp to accept my registration code in Windows 7. It worked fine in Win-XP Pro w/SP3. Any ideas?
