Starting internet TV but don't know how.
Hello everybody,
I want to start a live stream tv but i don't know what tools and softwares to use. I was using shoutcast to broadcast audio but when it comes to video i don't know what to do. Is shoutcast has a tool for it or any other solutions that you know? Please inform me. |

At one point, you could stream video using Shoutcast. However, the required software has not been updated for many years - and any video stations broadcasting with Shoutcast are no longer listed in the YP Directory.
You can still stream video using Icecast. Scenic Television is your ambient window to the world - - Television.ScenicRadio.com |

Take a look at ustream. You can also set up primitive streaming with videolan.

There's nothing quite like Shoutcast TV. I've looked around myself and the technology out there pretty much nixes out the possibility of streaming your own internet television station, like we get with Shoutcast TV... not without paying through the nose (forcing personal profit in to the equation). We still have NSV streams up and running and if you're up for the task, give it a try. Who knows how long we will have the opportunity?
