How to get the Shoutcast Api key?

Hi,

I am a big fan of shoutcast and I would love to write a nice radio app. How can I get the api key for shoutcast? I am trying to get it since 2009, I contacted almost everyone on shoutcast and everyone told me that "at this time it is not possible to get a new key, please try again in few months"... so I am trying, I am contacting shoutcast every 2 months with the same answer...

anyone here got the api key? What are the requirments??? Maybe they want money? I don't know.

if that's what you've been told previously then it's most likely still the same situation. that's not something anyone on here can really change.

also no one should _ever_ give out an api key (as it's provided on a per-partner basis from what i remember) and doing so would instantly get that key revoked and disable access to anyone's apps, etc which have been using it.
