Retrieve Hash Auth

Hi!

I've deleted my public.conf and I had no backup of it, so now I cant create another Hash Auth, no option is shown in Shoutcast Admin page. What to do?

Server IP: 62.75.139.39

make sure that the streamauthhash entry in the config you are using is empty and not showing <enter_authhash_here> or anything else e.g. it should just be streamauthhash=
or remove the line completely.

just ensure you've followed http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....79532#remember before trying to create it. and make sure to make a backup!

I've just tried it and a lot of other changes and it's still not working

What about if u delete my hash or ip from database?

if you deleted the old config then the original authhash should not be on your machine and will not have any effect whether i try to find and delete it now or wait for it to be automatically removed when it is deemed to be dead.

what errors were being reported in the log output?

also it might be easier if you sned me a pm with the contents of your config file -and if there are any 'include' statements then the contents of the included config files as well.
