getting this message
Greetings!
I just installed Winamp 5.57 in my Windows 7 Home Basic (64x). Problem is, I got this message after installation: ![]() Also, when I try to run Winamp, my computer says its not responding and never opens... I can't even see it! I saw in someone's thread, that he uninstalled plugins and deleted the Winamp folder, I did it too and kept getting the same error... Can anyone help me? Thanks! |

Update Winamp, the latest version as of this reply is 5.6.
Make sure you are not running Winamp with a compatibility mode setting... Right-click the Winamp desktop icon, select "Properties", then go to the Compatibility tab and uncheck everythingCompatibility mode can cause issues with Winamp, especially with Modern skins Also, when installing Winamp it should be done in an administrator account (not a user account). |
