preset selection menu acts VERY unpredictably when hit backspace during transition

I'm using v5.66

On RANDOM mode, when I hit (space) from preset A to transition to a new preset B (selected by MD at random), then interrupt the transition with (backspace), MD behaves very unpredictably. Sometimes it goes back to viz A, sometimes it chooses a new preset C that's neither A nor B. In ANY case, the preset selection menu (pressing L) is always on the wrong preset. (The preset that's yellow is NOT the one that's on the screen.)

"987987" is what I use to put the first setting to indefinite
SUGGESTION: "0" should set it to infinity or have another way of choosing "NO CHANGE"

MD is working as designed in these 2 instances.

If you turn off RANDOM mode, then you can move back and forth as you expect. Random is random.

The load feature (pressing L) lets you select a particular preset. The highlighted preset is not always intended to be the currently playing preset. The 1st time you use the feature in a session it highlights the currently active preset, after that it highlights the last preset that was highlighted (even if you move the highlight to another preset and don't activate it).

Use the keyboard scroll lock (ScrLk) key to prevent preset transitions.
