Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

It's a pretty decent FPS, for what you can enjoy on a console...The only real downside to the game is the idiocity of the AI; There's almost at least a 2-3 second buffer time between the enemy aiming then firing at you...My cousin got pretty far in a level by just pistol whipping the enemies while standing directly in front of them...

the dvd drive is unwilling and the hdd makes strange noises on startup too.

morowind is like a more detailed, less scripted, giant sand box zelda. it also has all kinds of stats and nonsense like final fantasy. you can play it first or third person. though i recommend first, because in third person the animation of your character running is really creepy and unnatural. (the animation is much less creepy in the original xbox platinum hits version for no reason at all. the goty version comes with like 80 billion extra hours of gameplay) first person makes it easier to look at stuff you need to interact with and stab at, aswell. once your in first person it controls just like any other first person, thing. its slow but if you like depth, have a good deal of patience, and dont mind reading its good stuff.

i too have kotor, i havent played it much though. jade empire is like kotor but isnt turn based.

i myself have finished morrowind, kotor 1 and 2 and jade empire.

morrowind doesnt lead the player well, ie. its really easy to get lost in the world. jade empire and the kotor series have a fair share of side quests but a more dominant story (thus you cant get lost in the world).

omit is right on the animations of morrowind, they are so unnatural and can creep people really out (especially the jumping animation).

kotor is a multi path turn based rpg. for people who like turn based rpg's but not final fantasy, its pretty long as far as i know. as i understand it jade empire is rather short and easy. im also under the impression that they will soon come out with a newer version too, it will be longer and be more challenging.

I'm actually enjoying Kotor now that I know what to do. Kinda wandered around aimlessly for a couple hours. Getting to the bit where you help the Hidden Baks (I think?).
