nsv file lenght

Guys.. anybody knows if there is any way to get the lenght in minutes of a nsv file? Im trying to find a way to get the lenght of nsv files in Linux.

Anybody done this before?

unless it has a header you are going to have to look at the frame rate and pull the number of frames and work out the math from there. although that won't be completely accurate.

you might need to compile it yourself to compile VFW in, and maybe other things. I think theres WineX which has directx (meaning directshow in it) and that might be able to run winamp. This way you could run the little 'tester' thing on it.

That's the best and most accurate solution I can think of.

(And now that I've figured it out, i might be able to encode nsv on teh lunix, i hope)
