I'm not sure what they're about, but I like the colours and thin lines. It looks like they were done with watercolours.

Everybodys work is so good, I'm almost ashamed to post this.

My brother seems to think they're great, although small.
Done on 5*7 notebook paper with 2h and hb pencils. I hope he looks familiar.

I suppose I put this here, because technically it's a drawing. Actually about 50 drawings in succession. For my animation class we had to animate a character's head as they were reacting to something that could be on camera or off. I decided that the something he could react to was getting his brain sucked out through a tube.

Enjoy ~3Mb Quicktime movie

Hi all-

I'm new to these forums, so as I was browsing thru, I noticed this thread and being an artist by trade, I thought I'd post a link to some of my artwork. These are both drawings, paintings, and photography.

Would love your feedback and comments!

I always liked drawing, since I was a child. Now I am into hyperrealistic pencil drawings and digital paintings.

If you want to see some of my drawings, check my deviantart page and browse my gallery : link

I hope you'll like my style.

no offense, but it isn't very good. pixelated, bland, blurry and a horrible colour. this is my opinion. I'm quite negative, but I do honestly think that.

Mik you can draw like that? Wow.
I think the purple tree would look better at about half its current size, due to the obvious pixellation. It does look like a tree, anyway.
Here's one of my drawings.

Just looked at all the art from a couple of pages back and am pleased to report that there are actually some well talented melon farmers here.

@*****: Portraits aren't my cup of tea but I can easily appreciate your work. You've captured the feeling of age very well in 'Vieille femme'. And 'Allisson Mack' has an excellent feel of freshness.

@Jmagick: Excellent quality portrait.

@Germ: Are you a professional artist? Your work is what I call real art. It's dope. Highly innovative and original it really is on another level. You should exhibit. I've got good contacts in the contemporary British art scene (pompous piss-takers), I am severly tempted to push your work their way.

@mikwithstik: If you really did that drawing then you're also talented. If not then you are one sick, misrepresenting, puppy.

@luigihann: Again, I say, talented. That picture is very dark indeed. You have a good sense of artistry. If the picture is a plea for help then I strongly urge you to talk to someone (I'm not taking the piss).

@bla: Bloody troll!

Your sig is 500x70 pixels.

500 * 70 = 35,000

It's 17K, and though the limit is 15K, I don't think that 2K is a particularly big deal - I'm not trying to be the sig nazi here, I mean, mine is 6 lines, after all. But mine is small (in byte size, and not huge visually, either), mine doesn't flash, mine has no loud colours, etc.

A 17K image doesn't bother me in loading time, but I'm not ever on dialup.

Quote:
In the attempt to create a compromise where everyone is happy, we'd like to make some suggested signature sizes and guidelines.

To keep the page loading time, and visual annoyance factor down to a minumum, please keep your graphical sigs to a 12,500 pixel max or 15k file size.

For text, please try and keep it to 3 lines max.

One last idea is to limit signature usage to once per thread. Few things are more annoying than seeing the same graphic over and over while scrolling through a long thread. Even the coolest sigs start to grate when you see them 75 times.

This bit of courtesy for your fellow forumites, will make the boards work a bit faster for all of us.

These suggestions are just that; suggestions. And a little slop over is okay in general. People who continue to make gigantic sigs will, after some moderater discussion, be asked to voluntarily comply with the guidelines or have their signatures disabled. We don't want to do that. We all just want to have fun.

Freedom of speech is the basic freedom of humanity. When you've lost that, you've lost everything.

I prefer to quote the Forums Rules. More, err, normative
Quote:
Signature Size
- To keep the page loading time and visual annoyance factor down to a minimum, ensure your graphical signatures do not exceed a maximum of 12,500 pixels or 15 kilobytes file size, whichever is reached first. Alternatively, three lines of text can be used as a signature. Do not pad out your text lines with blanks lines. A line of text is defined such that it does not wrap when viewed at a resolution of 640x480.

If these limits are exceeded then you may be contacted by a moderator requesting an amendmant to your signature. If none is made within a reasonable period of time, then a moderator may remove your signature from your profile.

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.
