Just downloaded Winamp. It is working fine to burn downloaded music. I am having a promblem ripping cds. I select rip all tracks and I am getting the last track of the cd for every ripped track.

that's weird, just opposite here, can rip but not burn. no solution ellicited in my post, although johnnymac did read my hijack log which was nice of him:

i've had to download music match to burn cd's now, and i use winamp for everything else including lame mp3 encode. you might try the same (but reverse)...it seems for unexplained reasons some parts of app's just don't work for everyone.

this would be a good subject for someone who knows about manufacturers' drive/mobo/software/hardware compatibility perhaps.

all my hp drivers are up to date from manufacturer site, and it still doesn't make a difference.

it's just unfortunate we have to find a "work-around" for processes that ideally would be streamlined.

I really wouldn't use Musicmatch to rip (burning may be ok), rather try EAC or CDex.
