To whoever this concerns, Sawg or somebody:
The Winamp2 page is broken in places,
and the link to download Winamp 2.81,
takes you to download WA3, not Winamp 2.81.
All the other links for WA2.81 (overview, screenshots, etc.)
also go to WA3.
Big thanks for WA2.81!!!

Later...

You know there was an option to not put that icon on the desktop.

If life calls and you're busy, let the answering machine pick-up.

Just so you know, my previous avatar was NOT a swastika, nor did it have much similarity to one. Just thought I'd clear that up since I cannot use my own original art work.

Only thing I've noticed so far is new things in the 'credits' and I think I saw a few new Keyboard shortcuts.

Is it just me or does winamp 2.81 have better sound quality (or did I leave the equalizer on?)

It is?
It includes 2.2.1 which as of this date and time that I have posted here ( ), is the latest.

teh suck, i just downloaded 2.80 (for this pc) 2 days ago.

and they STILL haven't fixed the skin bugs that would take them seconds to do and not affect any skins (there are a couple of pixel-shift bugs).

Will somebody please create a dummy wa2update I can download every few days? Bad enough that The West Wing finished on Channel 4 last week, now this...

You can still get the separate plug-ins from Peter's site.
http://www.blorp.com/~peter/zips/?M=D

The latest being out_ds.exe and in_vorbis.exe
