Whaddya like better, Hard Rock or Hollywood?
I got back from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I went to the Hard Rock Cafe and the Planet Hollywood there. Yeah, i know real exciting. But what do you like better?
I like HRC cuz it is me. But PH is cool cuz of the handprints and movie things. I put my hands in Patrick Stewart's, Arnold Schwarkjfasdglajnegger, Paul Newman, Bruce Willis, and a bunch of guys' handprints. It was cool. And I stood right next to Arnold's bodypuppet thing of the torn up T800 from Terminator 2. Oh and at HRC I was about 6 inches away from John Entwistle's bass. No glass or plastic or anything protecting it. I just didnt touch it becuase iam parinoid and i thought maybe there were heat detecters and maybe security guys wold get me. Scary. and i saw Matt Sorum's drums from GNR circa Use Your Illusion I & II if anyone here is familiar with them. Bla bla bla i gotta go to bed. And I forgot to post the fucking poll. /me is very tired. time to play some quake to wake me up

I live an hour away from the real Hollywood- most residents here agree that both the Hard Rock Cafe and especcially planet Hollywood are way overpriced and have horrible food. Very tourist trappish.
Adding to that, I am a very proud owner of a 2 hard rock cafe T shirts- from Kuala Lampur and Beijing (I have probably got more comments on them than any other piece of clothing......)

i havent been to either, and really have no desire to go. its become a status symbol to go to HRC, just like it is to have a g/f. its fine if you want to, but not just because other people say its cool.

I haven't been to either as well. I generally think they are very tourist trapish sorts of places with mediocre food and overpriced T-shirts. I've even seen is some airports, like in Singapore and Australia, where you can buy Hard Rock Cafe shirts right in the airport, so you get the place name on the shirt without ever venturing into the restaurant itself. It's all rather silly in my opinion.
