Damn all this NASCAR crap. It's stupid, it sucks, and it's boring. NASCARs aren't even considered "Stock" cars anymore, it's almost too easy to guess who's gonna win the races, and it's also too easy when the majority of your life and winnings are done on an oval track. Umm, 500 laps of this? No thanks. Even watching CARTs race an oval track is more interesting. I don't even know why it came on NBC last Sunday, I wanted ALMS or F1, dammit...

And I'm not gonna like it when Fast and the Furious 2 will come out. NOS won't be cool anymore, since NX (Nitrous (E)Xpress) will be the movie's laughing gas sponsor. "Hey dude, I need 2 bottles of NOX!" Oh, boy...

-Terrorists
-Beaurocracies
-Microsoft (because of their additions to the license agreement in Windows XP, allowing them to use anything on your computer in any way they want)
-One of my roommates (cause he's a womanizer)
-the music INDUSTRY (key word here: industry) and the exploitation of good musicians. They work hard to get there and they are repaid with exploitation?! What kind of reward is that?
-corporations and how they are running this country
-intolerance of other races, religions, societies, ethnicities, sexual orientations, etc.
-the fact that people do not give a damn about anything generally
-President Busch's methods of handling the terrorist situation: You cannot go to war with terrorists, because they do not have their own country.

That's about it right now but there's always more to add. This stuff is just off the top of my head.

I disagree. I admit, NASCAR aint fun, maybe its cuz football is upon us, and by the time Feburary comes around ill be heavy into it again, but what else sucks is they cannot run in the rain, which blows. And now they're thinking about putting Traction Control on the stock cars. Pfft. Still, NASCAR is fun, when ALMS is getting dry, CART is sucking itself into oblivion, and F1 has been beaten to death by Ferrari.

I hate my friend Paul who tells me I should get a Mini Cooper S over the SVT Focus I want to get (If I don't get a Mustang GT). Sure, the Mini Cooper is a BMW German-made high-quality car, and Ford is problem-plauged, but since when did "quality" have anything to do with "performance"? I don't give a damn who makes the car. If it's fast, it's fast. Shut up. The Mini Cooper S needs a damn supercharger just to get 180-hp, while the SVT Focus get's 170-hp at the flywheel STOCK. Not to mention the SVT Focus pulls higher G's than the Cooper, and "Cute" doesn't exactly fit my definition.
I love the Mini Cooper, Paul, but dammit, it's my $20-grand that I'm spending!

yes, one of my friends friend, works in an auro repare place, and the focus got the nickname of "fuck us". It is a horrible car. I dont trust american car companys, their cars are not good at all. They are made poerly, and dont last long, or well, from what i have heard.
Hell, Ford made the bronco. They had to make a call, release a dangerus car, and get sued b/ of the deaths from it rolling over. Or hold it back and lose market share to the comptetitors, they went with the first option.
I dont trust them any more, never did, never will.
Pluse, why get a focus? It doesnt took that good, and it Im not sure how well it preforms.
Look for a better "sporter" car. and just do not get a rice burner.

If American car companies so crappy, then how come GM is the leader in the top car manufacturers internationally with Ford tagging right along it?
Besides, you people may not be having good luck, but I damn well am with my '95 Pontiac Grand Am Se, and I'll be plently happy if I do buy a '99 Mustang GT or '02 SVT Focus, regardless of what other people day. If you don't like it, then maybe we could settle our differences in a race at the Laguna Seca racetrack, how 'bout it?

As far as luck goes, it depends mostly on what year of car you buy. For instance, our '95 Winstar is (and has always been) a piece of shit, whereas people who bought one the year after have had no problems. '98 is the same as '95: most unreliable car ever. Like I said, I can't speak for all American car companies, but I would just strongly advise you against buying a Ford, for any reason (excluding a Shelby Mustang). Just because you sell the most of something does NOT mean you have the best product. If that was true, Beta-Max would be the standard, not VHS (well, before DVD's), and we would all be running BeOS rather than Windows or OSX. Marketing and business skills have a lot more to do with sales than product quality.

BTW, I'd love to race someone on that track, but if you want to test American cars against Asian, then I get to drive a Nissan Skyline or a Toyota Supra .

Edit: Oh yeah, and despite my prejudice against American cars, I would still probably buy a Mustang GT, just because they have such badass engines.

Umm... some rifles are accurate at up to two miles and are powerful enough to go through armored plating (as in the kind on those trucks that carry money). They can't predict where he's going to shoot from next, and it's kind of difficult to notice a guy in Maryland sitting up on an abandoned roof or something. All he has to do is find a somewhat empty spot and then leave after he shoots them.

Ah, yes, but here in America we have the good old Second Amendment. For those of you from different countries who don't know what I'm talking about, it's an amendment in the Bill of Rights that was passed back when the Constitution was first ratified. It states that, given the need for a well-regulated militia, the right of the citizens to keep and bear arms shall not be abridged (I think the wording's similar to that). If you're a conservative (or a sniper), this means that you have the right to own any gun you want. If you're sane, this means that the amendment is meaningless because it clearly states that the purpose of the weapons is to maintain a militia, which hasn't been necessary for a couple of centuries. I'm not saying that all guns are evil, but I don't understand why a normal citizen needs to keep an M-16 in their closet.
