dude i went to that site and immediately got a dozen popup ads. whatre you talking about? and try mp3.com. not much selection, but fairly workable links, and a tenth as many popups as your site.

Kazaa is king. Better than Napster, except for the spyware. Install it and then get Adaware and then get Kazaa Lite.

www.kazaa.com
www.lavasoft.com
www.kazzalite.com

The regular Internet is terrible for MP3 sharing. I know from the horrible experience. Sometimes files are not what they say, quality is not reliable, and selections are very limited. And the popups are very annoying. Kazaa or WinMX are best because they have a massive user count. Right now on Kazaa, there are 2,668,001 users on and they are sharing 422,465,000 files taking up 2,913,472.0 GB. Good enough?

By the way, Xion your sig is WAYYYYYYYY too big. I'm no moderator, but I know you will get something about it sooner or later. Read the Forum Sticky at the top of GD.

WinMX is the king of all filesharing. Kazaa has given many people problems and Napster is dead. I've been using WinMX for maybe 2 months and it works perfectly fine. And it's such a small download (~750kb) you can download it to a floppy! Simple to use and simple to upgrade. My one problem: If you have an outdated version, you MUST update to continue use. Although with such a small download, you CAN upgrade every time it comes out.

btw, Aero, my sig is fine by mods...I'm under the 15k limit.

ha ha very funny.

I see filesharing as the way to get every musician's want done.

I don't understand why bands are pissed that they're losing cash from napster and filesharing. I should ask those bands what they'd rather have: Money from CD Sales or the knowledge that somebody is getting THEIR MUSIC from a program and the satisfaction that people are still listening to them? Damn what a material world we live in.

(I'll probobally be in the bitchlist.)

Right know I'm usin Kazaa lite, much better than regular kazaa!
Tried WinMX but my firewall said no,no,no!
Every gnutella client don't work with my firewall but I'm
satisfied with Kazaa lite.
Direct connect is really good for full albums!
But you've got to find a hub you like.

Actually, most bands are getting screwed over by their own record label more than anyone else. They a only get a small percentage on each cd sale.

Do you still have WinMX on your system? That may be fixable. But lemme ask you something: Can Kazaa have custom colors? Can Kazaa download WHOLE MOVIES? Can Kazaa find wav's, midi's and pictures?

The word from on high (watadoo ) is that if your sig is hella big like that then try and keep your sig to once per thread so it doesn't repeat twelve times in a row on the page
