Recording Control

Hi,

I've recently been trying to netcast... When I get tested the people say we can hear the music, but through your mic...

The reason for this is because under 'Shoutcast', click on 'mixers' then u get 'Recording Control' and 'Volume Control' windows up. Now my main concern is the 'Recording Control' window. I can see 6 sliders, but the main one which is causing confussion is the one on the far left, called 'Recording Balance', now there's a ticky box on all of the sliders but this one. Well, it does have one but it is greyed out! You can't tick it and you can't untick it...

Anyone help?
