So those pesky Thomson people are charging poor little AOLTimeWarnerNetscapeNullsoft to licence mp3pro playback teknóloji? Well, I myself and I'm sure plenty of other people would be willing to spare a little change for a Winamp3
plug-in. Preferably one that could encode as well. This is a good idea. Maybe you could have a whole new bundle with lots of features requiring licencing and charge about $10. Unless anyone knows where I can get a plug-in for free...?

Unless I'm mistaken, the Winamp developers already said this wasn't gonna happen.

There was talk about a Premium version of Winamp with all sorts of extra goodies that would cost you something because of all the extra licensing incurred.
However, mp3pro is not one of those features. And if peter gets wind of this thread... I'm sure he'll tell you why quick fast and in a hurry. Well hell, he'll probably just tell you that compared to other free formats out there, mp3pro sucks. I really don't know enough about the differences between the formats to say myself, I've just seen WAY TOO MANY of these threads. Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. - Albert Einstein Winamp 3 Projects | Winamp 2x Plugin Manager | Explorer Playlist | FileSystem Object | Shoutcast List | Sashimi
