New skin: Pixelpusher

I didn't steal the name from Tac-Man. I honestly just did this this morning and read Tac-Man's post before posting this. Honest coincidence. Name suggestions are welcome, but I prefer the name 'Pixelpusher.'

Like Tac-Man, I'm trying to score with originality in this one, but I'm going for aesthetics, too.

Inspired by Connect-X! It's skinme!, not skinyou!!

And in fact, this is a thread for two: Pixelpusher, and Nuclear Memory 2.

Out of pure greed, I decide Pixelpusher shall get the first post.

Suggestions welcome. Colour suggestions, too. Maybe that blue is weird.

i wouldn't use the name pixelpusher. its the name of a former forum member. here's his website:
http://pixelpusher.freeservers.com/W...troduction.htm
its also the name of a site for gfx/html tuts
http://pixelpusher.com

even if you did think of it on your own, i wouldn't use it.

about the skin... its interesting, but i can't say its my style. and nm2 looks cool

gorgeous. i can see some c-x influences but i think it's much more. It's funky and i want it. I think you should call it spixelise. coz i rule your thought processes. and i have dirt on you.

nuc mem2 looks good too... i'm really into the first one though and at the mo i can concentrate on two different ideas. sue me for $gazillions

Spixelize or Spixelise? I think it's a 'z.' "Pixelize."

Ah! The almighty Cleanup has solved it! By moving the EQ display a pixel higher, he sacrifices functionality for aesthetics! Though it's still functional!

Our hero saves the day again! Woo-hoo!

its looking great, why not go crazy with an alpha-mask, have transperent pixils at the edges, like the logo of xerox, with the "X" going blocky at one point, just have the blocks sculpted out with the alpha blend

Ahm, that sounds like something Photoshop-ish.

I think the break up of the border wouldn't go to will with the skin. Lack of a border makes for a messy skin. Like Visional Memory.

You should have made "Spixelized" a few months ago. It reminds me of a summer in Santa Barbara: colourful and plasticky. If plasticky isn't what you were going for, then perhaps tone down the light yellow and light blue highlights. I like your font choice, but the size makes it a bit difficult to read.

Nuclear Memory II looks alright, but I think I like Nuclear Memory better at this point. Myself, I don't like skins with small buttons because they make a mockery of my lack of coordination. Still, I'm glad you kept the light green colour scheme (I'm not completely sold on the orange, though). The titlebars seem too narrow to me, but do I like the two oddly shaped borders in the main.

Alright, what if I got rid of the transparency and made the Main and EQ of NMII like the PL and MB?

no inactive clutterbar, and the winshade mode has the shared pixel bug.

since it looks like you are gonna use transparancy on the top anyways, I would just blacken that out an fix it

yeah there is

check the display properties and uncheck the always display clutterbar tab...it should give you a blank white spot where your clutterbar is whenever you aren't pressing buttons on it.

Ya learn something new everyday cleanup

oh and the bottom letter is sposed to be a V for visualization.
