Blah, more crap from me: LCD skin

well here it is ladies an gents...this is kinda my jumbotron skin...after like 3 days of just messing around with stuff randomly

Also, the frame on it is from my Black Ice 3; its not a rip if its mine (besides nobody likes that skin anyways )

I really like it! the red, orange and black clash (but in a good way)

In my opinion this is your best so far. I didnt really like all the old gamers stuff, it was cleverly layed out, just not really my style....

i love it.
your killing me b/c your skin design was the direction i was thinking about for the dj pro skin for wa3 i'm doing.
as you can imagin i'm happy to see its looking good as a wa2 skin.
i'm going to have to make my desing a bit different now (i also hate doing something that has been already done).
keep it up.
give me more!

I like the look of this one too. The red and orange match and the black contrasts nicely with them and (just about) matches the grey. I'd like to see the grey edge being given the 'double ridge' that the red/orange areas have to help the consistency of the skin (it looks slightly out of place to me, maybe because it came from Black Ice 3?). Definitely want to see how this skin turns out.

The frame adds sooooooooooo much to this skin. The fusion of the clashing lcd colours and the earthlike brown frame is just gorgeous. Congrats. Hope to see some more of that frame.

well, the frame is just that...a frame.

I'm not planning on it having parts protruding into any of the "LCD" components, if thats what you mean skinme.

That'd be good for the winshade mode, make the main larger though.

It would be a nice skin in itself, in that it's small (unlike most WA3 monstrosities) and not your standard brushed metal.

It's too small, would suffer greatly in funtionality.

#2000 (Pretend I'm a Forum King now)

The little WA3 skin looks quite nice, but it's just too small and squished to be functional. At first glance, I was like, "Wow, that looks cool!" But then I was like "That would be really hard to use." Plus, the colors, though cool, aren't the most high-contrast things in the world, so it doesn't help the compact design.

But the WA2 skin's great.

well the WA3 thing was just me fooling around...only took me like 5 seconds to hack the WA2 into a tiny WA3, and besides, I don't know how to code for WA3 :| and my friend who knows XML at least wont code for me . I may finish the rest of the skin in a day or so.

ALL DONE

Thats, right, step right up and be amazed at the finished product. if you like it. This is another fine example of why I don't get enough damn sleep and I am teaching myself how to code for WA3, and its not as hard as I figured. anyways, 1st, a screenshot;

and the skin itself. By the way, the playlist and minibrowser are done up in courier new, so if you don't have it for some odd reason it will look different.

Tada!

Nice skin. Great job!

I like the overall look as well as some of the smaller details, especially the Posbar shape and the shuf/rep & on/auto buttons. It has a bit of a retro flair, methinks.

Two things I would change:

1) make the border of your Megamen in the Mbinner black instead of white (or even red)

2) the titlebars/winshade bars. They are very well made and look great on their own, but I don't think they blend in well with the tri-chromatic theme of the overall skin. They might if you were to introduce more metal elements in the windows, or make the metal borders thicker, but as for now I just don't think they're consistent.

But that's just me.

erm...heh

its kinda a chromy glow thing I had going on. I use basically the same mbinner in all my skins, and just change the color accordingly.

thats what I get for being different d:
