Instead of Winamp wallpaper, why not have AVS wallpaper? Look in the AVS forum for the info (AVS>troubleshooting I think)

Milkdrop can do this, but it runs like shite. Having said that, all the AVS freaks out there are used to visualisations running at 10fps, so what the hell, go for it...
