Prevent ban hits from being logged?

Last night I had someone connecting with two clients from the same IP address. I'd kick the first and it'd reconnect immediately. The second client I was able to kick and it stayed off.

Today I see that same IP has been connected for over 11 hours (which is weird itself since I've got ListenerTimer set to 36000). I kick it and it reconnects immediately so I ban the address.

Now the problem is that I get:

<09/10/02@17:24:02> [dest: xx.xxx.xx.xxx] IP in ban list, disconnecting

being recorded in sc_serv.log every two freaking seconds! Is there any way to keep the server from logging these events until Mr. Clueless turns off his client?

you do realize that your listener timer is set to 36000 minutes not seconds, so in otherwords a listener won't automatically be kicked until they hit the 600 hour mark.

That's what I thought when I initially set it to 600 and had my connection dropped every ten minutes. After setting it to 36000, then I had log entries of set-it-and-forget-it listeners being kicked at 36001 seconds.

I sent an email at the time about it either being a bug in the OS X version or an error in the documentation.

(oh yes, I shut down the server for about five hours last night -- when I brought it back up, the two-second guy had stopped beating his head against the door )
