Grabbing info from WinAMP3 API(?)
I'll be the first to admit, the difference between the scripting, objects and skinning of Maki and the components of Wasabi leave me a bit lost, it seems all input, no output.
Let me set the scene - I'm presently working on making a plug-in for Trillian Pro 1.0 ( http://www.trillian.cc ) to display the status of WinAMP3, and plan to add control functionality. I remember in WA2.x it was simple WM_* commands, but that doesn't seem to be the case with 3 at all. Any help, even if it's telling me I should go ask in the Wasabi forum instead, is greatly appreciated. |

Maki only supports dcc support (for mIRC)
Wasabi components (WAC) can do what you want i think move to the development forum (the one below skins n scritping)

Output to other programs
Well, you can use the ddeSend() proc in Maki to send all sorts of info to another program, as long as it has a DDE interface for Windows that is watching for incoming data. The example in the std.mi file only shows an example for mIRC but should work for any Windows program that can recieve DDE messages.
