copyright violation

Hello :-)

Im thinking about makin' skins for winamp and using some pics from TV series, Star Trek The Enterprise for exemple ...

But Im asking myself what will happen if I do so .. isn't it a copyright violation against paramount ?

And how it is possible that winamp.com is allowed to distribute so many skins with pics from any copyrighted movies (Star Wars, Matrix, etc.... ) ?

Note that submitting a skin that incorporates an unlicensed, copyrighted image is illegal.

The skin reviewers can't verify that for every copyrighted image a license has been granted, or that the image is copyrighted. Therefore they assume that every skin was crafted legitimately.
