hard drive crashed
I have a hard drive which had a drop test, Needless to say it does not work. Cmos sees the drive but windows xp does not. Does anyone know if there is software witch could read this drive and recover my files, thanks in advance.

It's doubtful, but you should be able (on another computer) to be able to go to the manufactur of the drive's website and download their recovery/diagnostic tools. These you will be able to put on a bootable diskette. That will load before Windows does, and will be able to inspect the drive.

Doubt it, drop tests are usually pretty permanant. The CMOS will be reading the data from the firmware on the drive not from the physical spinning disk. It's very likley the read write heads are broken in which case it's pretty much b0rked unless you want to spend a few grand getting the data recoverd from the manufacturer.
