How do I get the intro file to work?
I have tried just about everything to get the intro file to play when the station starts, but I can't! I have tried converting the file to the same sample rate at the station, and doing the different things in the SHOUTcast server settings and nothing happens, please tell me what to do, One of my friends made me a cool intro for my station, it can't go to waste.

not without any links to your streams and to the intro file by itself. One thing you haven't been specific on though, are you even hearing the intro file play? or do you just hear the stream right away.
Check your paths to the mp3, DO NOT MESS with the %d bitrate stuff just put a real valid filename in there and make sure the mp3 has the EXACT same name. -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |

My station's URL is http://sonicclub.******.com:8000
The intro file is on the D drive of the computer that has the intro, the intro file is called intro.mp3. that's the exact file name i have in the SHOUTcast server configuration |

Make sure you removed the ; at the beginning of the line for the introfile. It should be:
IntroFile=D:\intro.mp3 Of course make sure you restart the DNAS after you make any changes so that the latest .ini/.conf is loaded. Tom |
