winamp3 won't even load anymore!!! :(

HEEEEELLLLLLLP!! hehe.. When open winamp3, before any actual winamp window comes up, I get a mess saying the following:

Expression : records > 0&& recordsize > 0
File C:\projects\studio\bfc\std.cpp
Line: 88
------ ---------
| OK | | Cancel |
------ ---------

When I press OK, nothing happens, it just closes the box, and that's that, winamp doesn't load. When I press Cancel, I get the "Winamp3 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." box that windows xp is so well known for, with the option to send report or not send. Point is, MY PRECIOUS WINAMP WON'T LOAD!!!

can someone please explain to me what's happening and how I can fix it? Thanks
