mp3 help

I need some help. I dl an mp3 from Kazaa and for some reason the bung-hole that made it left the recorder running for a full minute after the song went off, so there is a full minute of silence at the end of the track.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of this before I burn it and am stuck with it. A program or anything that yawl know of would help!!

Thanks a bunch!!

yeah, use a wave editing program like Cool Edit or Goldwave and remove the silence.

This will reduce the quality, however as you'll be reencoding to a lossy format afterwards. The best solution is to use Winmx to download a different version of the song.

I've done that before, its easy to do. But, I cannot remember how I did it off-hand.

You should thank me for my non-help.
